About
I'm Md Mahedi Zaman Zaber — Product-minded full-stack engineer, building things at the intersection of code and craft.
Welcome to Zaber’s Notes — a personal space where I write things down.
I’m Zaber, a software engineer and builder who spends a lot of time making things, breaking things, learning how they work, and occasionally wondering why I decided to build them in the first place.
This is where I document some of that journey.
What you’ll find here
Not everything here has to fit into a particular category.
I write about:
- Technology — software development, frameworks, tools, packages, architectures, and things I’m experimenting with.
- Engineering — problems I’ve encountered, solutions I’ve discovered, mistakes I’ve made, and lessons worth keeping.
- Projects — things I’m building, decisions behind them, and what I learn along the way.
- Guides & Solutions — practical solutions to problems that took me longer to solve than they probably should have.
- Thoughts & Opinions — ideas about technology, development, work, business, and the internet.
- Life & Experiences — personal reflections, observations, lessons, and occasionally just a record of a particular day.
- People & Stories — things I’ve learned from people, conversations, communities, and experiences.
Some posts may be carefully researched. Others may simply be a thought I didn’t want to lose.
That’s intentional.
Why “Notes”?
Because I don’t want this to be just another blog.
A blog often implies that every post needs to be polished, authoritative, and carefully packaged.
Notes are different.
They’re a record of what someone is learning and thinking about at a particular point in time.
Some will be useful to other people. Some will probably only make sense to me. Some might change completely later.
And that’s okay.
I’d rather document the journey than pretend I already know where it ends.
A few principles
Write things down.
If I spent hours solving a problem, there’s probably someone else who will encounter it too. If I learned something the hard way, writing it down might save someone else the trouble.
Share what I know, but stay curious.
Everything here represents my understanding at the time of writing. I’m always learning, and I’m not afraid to change my mind when I discover something better.
Build more than you consume.
Technology is most interesting when ideas become things. I like experimenting, building projects, testing assumptions, and seeing what happens.
Keep a record.
Years from now, I want to be able to look back and see not only what I built, but what I was thinking about, what I struggled with, what I believed, and how those things changed.
This is a work in progress
So is everything else.
The topics here will change. My opinions will change. The technologies I use will change. Even the way I write will probably change.
That’s part of the point.
This site is a snapshot of an ongoing journey — through software, technology, entrepreneurship, learning, and life.
If something here helps you solve a problem, teaches you something, challenges an assumption, or simply gives you something to think about, then the note has served its purpose.
This site is open source. If you like the way it looks or works, you’re welcome to use it for your own writing — see the repository for the code, the license, and the one condition attached to reusing it (a small credit back to Zaber’s Note).
Thanks for stopping by.
